me and my friend are uploading this review a year later because this place never left our hearts and minds. the atmosphere was perfect, we spent our whole morning and part pf the evening in this cafe, sitting at a table playing cards, chilling and relaxing listening to the amazing music. the furniture is cozy and fun, it feels alive. i felt in hawaii. fantastic place, we’ll for sure come back!!

This cafe is one of the places where you go there to feel totally comfortable and relaxed. It has a very cozy atmosphere. The decorations make you feel at home. They have blankets and warm stuff. It’s colorful and with lots of books, magazines, newspapers and even games to enjoy your time. That makes it perfect for a hangout with friends, a date with your special one or even a sole hangout to pamper yourself and disconnect from people. Additionally, they have very good coffee. The menu includes coffee and tea in different ways. I tried the cappuccino and it was great. Attached you can find a photo for your reference. I also added some photos of the place which I liked. I totally recommend JC cafe to sense the beauty and coziness of Freiburg coffee shops.Cool atmosphere, great coffee. Shout out to our Barista for his cool Heisenberg shirt. 😎

Atmosphere is super (no joke). Middle-finger theme is hilarious. The funniest part? Finding a gay porno comic mixed in with the kids’ comics on the bookshelf. It totally fits the vibe, almost like a piece of contemporary art.

Great atmosphere, kind of thrift-store ish, the coffee is excellent and the staff was marvellously friendly, funny and helpful. Would certainly recommend for an alternative-feeling cup of coffee.
Really like this place💖 Found it last year when visiting Freiburg. In the back is an unusual barber shop whilst the café has a retro 60's theme. Very quaint💞
Vintage environment, cool but at the same time quiet place, good coffee and fresh cakes. Perfect to spend an hour reading, writing or chatting with a friend

Café in old style with individual arm chairs. Coffee and cake is tasty. Choice of newspapers and "Titanic"
